YesTechie Labs Usage Terms

These terms cover the integrations published on labs.yestechie.com ("Integrations") by YesTechie, 14701 Arminta St, Suite A, Panorama City, CA 91402 ("YesTechie", "we"). By installing or using an Integration, you agree to them.
// 01 Personal use license
You may install and use Integrations for personal, non-commercial use, such as on your own home network. This license is limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute Integrations.
// 02 Commercial use
Any business use requires a commercial license from YesTechie. This includes running an Integration at a business site, installing one for a client, or including it in a paid service. To request one, use our request form.
// 03 Your responsibility
Integrations run on hardware you choose and connect to your UniFi system through its API, using an account you create. You are responsible for your system, network, data, equipment and backups, and for securing the host the Integration runs on and the UniFi account it uses (use a dedicated local account, not your owner or Ubiquiti cloud account, and don't expose the Integration to the internet). YESTECHIE IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE TO, OR LOSS OF, YOUR SYSTEM, DATA OR EQUIPMENT ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF AN INTEGRATION.
// 04 UniFi updates and unofficial APIs
Some Integrations use UniFi features that Ubiquiti does not officially document. For example, VoIP to Horns uses Protect talkback. A UniFi OS, Protect or Talk update may change or break an Integration without notice. We don't guarantee that any Integration will keep working with future UniFi versions, and Ubiquiti does not support these Integrations.
// 05 As is, no warranty
INTEGRATIONS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Do not rely on an Integration for life-safety or emergency notification.
// 06 Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YESTECHIE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, EQUIPMENT, PROFITS OR SERVICE, ARISING FROM THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE AN INTEGRATION. FOR PERSONAL USE, YESTECHIE'S TOTAL LIABILITY IS ZERO DOLLARS ($0), OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT ALLOWED BY LAW. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
// 07 Not affiliated with Ubiquiti
YesTechie is an independent Ubiquiti integrator. YesTechie Labs and its Integrations are not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Ubiquiti Inc. Ubiquiti, UniFi and related marks are trademarks of Ubiquiti Inc. and are used here only to describe what the Integrations connect to.
// 08 Changes
We may update these terms or change or discontinue any Integration at any time. The current version is always on this page, and continuing to use an Integration means you accept it.
// 09 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
